An advanced, secure architecture incorporates the latest encryption, DUKPT, and is Visa PED certified for PIN-based transactions. These increasing security requirements, combined with EMV, demand high-speed processing that only an advanced security processor can provide. Multiple communication options are also available (through the Extended Communications Box), allowing merchants to benefit from the high speed of broadband, or GPRS, while keeping the intrinsic reliability of dial up.
